How to Really Wash Your Face

How to Really Wash Your Face

Clear skin by MyEveryzine

Cleansing your skin is one of the most important steps in your skin care routine. The purpose of cleansing is to remove the dirt, makeup, oil and dead cells that have accumulated over the course of the day, or during sleep when your skin’s work in cleaning itself has been done.

Always use warm water and find a facial cleanser that’s best for your skin type. After you wash your hands, spread your facial cleanser on your face and neck, gently washing in small upward, circular movements with your fingertips.

Then with your hands or a 100% cotton washcloth, rinse off your cleanser with warm water, then cool water. Now pat your skin dry with a clean 100% cotton towel. Follow with a toner, moisturizer and sunscreen for your skin type.
