2011: The Year of Chris Brown?

2011: The Year of Chris Brown?

Chris Brown

It’s a new beginning for Chris Brown— while fighting an uphill battle to restore his reputation, his latest songs are climbing the charts. Case in point: “Yeah 3X” sits high at #19 on the Hot 100 chart.

The fast-paced dance song has received such positive reviews thus far. It’s the type of song you’d hear at any club and instantly you would want to get up on the dance floor. It doesn’t matter if you normally would dance or not, it is impossible to hear the song and remain still.

Look At Me Now,” featuring Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes, just surfaced, too. Chris Brown actually drops a couple rhymes along with the other two rap stars! It’s not something you’d expect to heard from Chris, but that’s the point. Now, it’s about breaking boundaries and doing things he hasn’t done before and he does it successfully. The song itself is a mouthful but after “Yeah 3X” and “Deuces,” “Look At Me Now” was a prime choice.

These singles lead up to the release of his fourth studio album, “F.A.M.E.” The title stands for “Forgiving All My Enemies,” which, in a way, can be used to perfectly describe what he’s going through. Not only has he had to deal with things that happened in his past, but he feels the need to argue over feuds and attacks on the Internet. Chris Brown is ready to set things straight, claiming 2011 as the year of his comeback and he has given plenty of reasons to believe it will work.
